Govt lives up to its promise by aiding building of SJK (C) Poi Lam

SJK (C) POI LAM can look forward to studying at the new school in Bandar Baru Sri Klebang, Chemor, as it is expected to be completed in three months’ time.

The school’s relocation work committee chairman Tan Gim Pin said the federal government fund was approved with the help of MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek and Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The new school, sitting on a 5.2ha plot of land, would be complete with a sports complex, a canteen, a grand hall and a five-storey building to house classrooms.
The school that was set up in 1925, is currently sharing the premises with the secondary school on a 0.8ha plot of land.

Similarly, SJK (C) Bercham had also received an allocation of RM3mil from the Government to build a sports complex and 33 new classrooms, he said after launching the buildings.
